Ayesha Jhulka later came to the city of dreams, Mumbai to pursue a career in modeling and acting. After successfully modeling for a while, Ayesha made her debut in D.S. Azad’s ‘Kaise Kaise Log’ and later in Mehul Kumar’s ‘Meet Mere Man Ke’. However both these films as well as Ayesha Jhulka went noticed.Ayesha was first seen in a lead role opposite Salman Khan in Deepak Bahry’s ‘Kurbaan’ also starring veteran actors like Sunil Dutt and Kabir Bedi in pivotal roles. The film was a box office hit and Ayesha was supposed to be one of the most promising actors of the coming years. Ayesha Jhulka was paired opposite the chocolate hero Aamir Khan in the blockbuster ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander’. The film was a sports drama combining the interesting elements of teen romance and revenge. ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander’ starred Pooja Bedi, Asrani, Aditya Lakhia, Mamik, Deepak Tijori, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Kiran Zaveri and Anjan Srivastav in significant roles. Directed by Aamir’s cousin Mansoor Khan, ‘Jo Jeeta wohi Sikander’ was appreciated for its melodious music and was honored with the Filmfare Best film Award in 1992.

Isha Koppikar began her cinematic career with Agathiyan’s Tamil film ‘Kaadhal Kavithai’ opposite Prashanth released in the year 1998. Isha received the coveted the Filmfare Best Female Debut Award- Tamil for her performance in ‘Kaadhal Kavithai’. Isha appeared in a number of Tamil films like ‘En Swasa Kaatre’, ‘Jodi’, ‘Nenjinile’ and ‘Narassima’. She attended the St. Joseph's Convent School in Bhopal and later joined the reputed Film and Television Institute of India, Pune to study a course in acting.Jaya married the legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan in the year 1973 and the super couple is blessed with two children. Daughter Shweta is married to industrialist Nikhil Nanda, the son of Ritu Nanda, daughter of film legend Raj Kapoor, and Rajan Nanda. Their son, Abhishek Bachchan, an actor is married to renowned actress Aishwarya Rai who is also a former Miss World.A social activist and humanitarian, Jaya Bachchan is associated with Samajwadi Party and has been a member of Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Parliament. She once again returned to the Rajya Sabha representing Samajwadi Party in July 2006.
Jaya commenced her cinematic journey as a child artist in notable filmmaker Satyajit Ray’s Bengali film ‘Mahanagar’ after appearing in a diploma film ‘Suman’ at the FTII, Pune. Juhi ventured into film production in partnership with actor Shahrukh Khan and filmmaker Aziz Mirza. Their production company Dreamz Unlimited produced a few films like ‘Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani’, ‘Asoka’ and ‘Chalte Chalte’. Juhi Chawla did playback singing for the first time in Ravi Chopra’s ‘Bhootnath’.
