Amrita Arora is a well known bollywood actress, a model and former MTV VJ. Amrita was born on 31st January 1981 to a Punjabi Sikh father Anil Arora and Malayali catholic mother, Joyce Polycarp in Mumbai.Amrita Arora’s sister Malaika Arora Khan is a popular bollywood actress, a supermodel and a television celebrity. Malaika is married into the influential Khan family of bollywood. Her husband actor Arbaaz Khan is the son of notable screen writer Salim Khan and brother of famed actors Salman Khan and Sohail Khan. Amrita Arora shares a close bond with the bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor. Amrita Arora married businessman Shakeel Ladakh on 4 March 2009 and gave birth to a baby boy on 5th February 2010. Shakeel oversees the administration of his family’s construction and real estate business called the Red Stone Group.Amrita Arora started her career as a model and later featured in TV commercials for Ponds, Elle 18, After Smoke, and Sunsilk etc. Amrita Arora was also seen in a few music videos.
