Neelam Kothari, born on 3rd March 1968, at Hong Kong is an Indian actress and jewellery designer.

Neelam was formerly married to Rishi Sethia. But they later divorced. After a long courtship Neelam married actor Samir Soni.

Neelam Kothari was born and brought up in Hong Kong and Bangkok, and during her holidays in India she was spotted by producer director Ramesh Behl and she acted in his film Jawani in the year 1984.

Neelam became a big star and acted in films like Love 86, Andaz Pyar Ka, Ilzaam, Khudgarz, Aag Hi Aag, Paap Ki Duniya, Kasak, Indrajeet, Afsana Pyaar Ka, Santaan, Hum Saath Saath Hain and many other films.

Neelam has quit films and started her family business of jewels and has a showroom in Mumbai - Neelam Jewels in the year 2004.
